PAMHA Return to Hockey Red Zone Communication

Dear PAMHA Families:

Re: Hockey Canada Sanctioned Events will be cancelled until April 14th, 2021

The PAMHA Executive would like to take the opportunity to thank all the players and families who have participated in our hockey programs this season for their patience and understanding through all the ups and downs of this hockey season.  We would also like to sincerely thank all the amazing volunteers including coaches, managers, executive members, and club representatives who have worked tirelessly and with incredible dedication to our players through an unprecedented time.   It often does not get highlighted, but it takes more then 100 volunteers to successfully complete each season.   Never have more people stepped up to help bring hockey back to the more then 450 players who registered with PAMHA this season and for that we are all incredibly grateful.

During the HNO Central Zone Virtual meeting held earlier this evening, the Central Zone Delegates voted unanimously to suspend Hockey Activities based on the recommendation of the HNO Medical Advisor Dr. Barbara Zelek.

As a result, all Hockey Canada Sanctioned Events will be cancelled until April 14th, 2021

The PAMHA Executive supports this decision to ensure the safety of our players, volunteers, and families during these uncertain times.   We hope that all members of our PAMHA families remain safe and continue to follow all public health guidelines.    We know that hockey is an important part of the lives of all our players and we look forward to providing them with a safe return to hockey as soon as possible.

The Executive will work with our member clubs to conclude the season activities and the appropriate team/division representatives will be in touch regarding refunds.

Very Best Regards, and Please Stay Safe

Aaron Piccinin
PAMHA President
